DKP Rules
![]() QT Yacht Club DKP RulesDKP RulesIn QT Yacht Club we use the DKP system to win loot items in raids.Firstly for those who don't know DKP (Dungeon Kill Points) is a virtual currency system to bid against other guild members on loot items during our organised guild 25man raids. Gaining and Losing DKP PointsThere are going to be several ways to gain DKP points within the guild, firstly the main way to achieve points is through raids. The ways to gain DKP points in raids are listed below:
Alternatively we will be rewarding DKP points for other things such as:
However you can lose DKP points too, some of these are:
In some rare cases people will go below ZERO DKP points. Using Your DKP PointsTo place your bid you will be required to whisper the Master Looter/DKP Master your bid when he starts the round of bidding. To keep things fair if the DKP Master wants to bid on an item, he will whisper the officers his bid before the round of bidding begins.Bidding will work with a minimum bid of 10 DKP on loot items for your Main character and your main spec only. There will be 1 round of bidding for you to decide how much you will bid. There is no limit on a maximum bid so you can bid as much or as little as you like. If you are a new Trial member, you don't have priority over Alts or Offspecs and you won't be able to outbid full time members. However you do have priority over Social members if they are present in the raid on a rare occasion. However if you are playing an Alt or playing on an Offspec you can only bid against other Alts and other Offspecs in the raid. Alts and Offspecs will not be able to outbid somebody else who is raiding on their Main character but can outbid members who are on Trial or on Social. The minimum bid for Offspec gear is 5 DKP. Both Main and Alt characters will share the same DKP pool. So lets say your Main character (A) has 200 DKP points, your Alt character (B) will also have the same 200 DKP points. The way this will play in raids is, if you are raiding on character (B) and you bid 50 DKP points on a loot item, both characters (A) and (B) will then have 150 DKP points between them. Inactive and Social MembersIf your not online for a period of time (14 Days without notice) you will be moved down to our Social rank (Sailor), you will still get your DKP but you won't be able to outbid a full member but you will be able to outbid Alts and Offspecs.Trial players will get the same amount of DKP as full members but full members will still have priority on loot, however when a trial player becomes a full member they will still be able to keep all the DKP they have aquired as a trial member.
